1. Who are the characters? The characters are mostly people from the South American continent but some people are from across the world
2. What are they thinking? The characters in my photos seem to be in times of conflict, therefore they are very serious and alert.
3. What are they feeling? These photos were all in South American/Caribbean area, which probably means they are in a drug war. They feel
angry or scared when in comes to having an internal war
4. What is the relationship between the characters, or what is the relationship between the character and the setting?
The characters are under times of stress; the man on the bike is probably neutral with the setting, the man with the painting is probably being forced to leave which makes him sad, the last photo shows man to man conflict as the government is raiding a house.
5. What's about to happen or has already happened?
There has been a bomb to fire set in the first one. Transition an/or a taking in the second. War in the last one.

This is a photo that I took at the start of the school year. I was in Boston visiting my Mom's work. We had stopped in Boston Common and I had noticed that so many people were out walking rather than working.

Each character looks like they belong in the city. They have adapted to the sociability it takes to live in a city.

The second one is a serious-looking white man with his hands folded. The last photo is a black male of younger age that is listening to music on a walk of some sort.

1. What is the Story?
The first set of images is about an old man walking through a city. He is ambitious and will never stop going even if his age will make it somewhat harder. The second set of images. is about the memorial of Vietnam War Veterans. It tells a story of how brothers who fought in war will never be drawn away from each other.
2. How does each photograph contribute to the story?
The photographs as a whole use the 4 categories to tell the story. Establishing Image - the city, the lit congressional house. Action Image - the man walking, the motorcycle drive. Portrait Image - the man in the alley way, the image of the two veterans. Detail image - the mans legs, the medals awarded to the veteran.

This is a journey I had thought of. The first photo is an old school musician. The second is a new school musician's album cover. I had portrayed the journey of the music industry by combing old school hip hop with new hip hop. It shows how the original music had a darker emotion, the newer one has a happier tone.

My editor used hue/saturation adjustments to enhance the color of the photo.

Yes. The enhancements really bring out the emotional aspects. Color brings out emotion.

I feel like his decisions were beneficial because his ideas were better than my original idea. They had more depth.
